Barry MacSweeney on BBC Radio: tomorrow afternoon, 4.30pm, Tom Chivers presents The Poet of Sparty Lea. I'll reserve judgement till I've heard the broadcast, but it sounds promising. Will any non-poets tune in, I wonder?

I'll do my best to listen to this. When I was a teenager, Our Mutual Scarlet Boulevard -it was in the local library- bowled me over.

For me, it was 'Hellhound Memos' which I bought from The Many Press; I was disapointed that it was only included in part in 'Wolf Tongue'.
