Markets boosted as Warren Buffett invests $5bn in Goldman Sachs





Publishing sector bullish as John Bloomberg-Rissman joins the board of Leafe Press as editor and executive director.


Alan Baker retains his position as editor of Litter and managing editor of the press. The pair will be meeting to discuss strategy later this month in their European HQ in Nottingham.

How are the markets reacting to news of the merger between these two giants of the small press sector? Are we likely to see further moves towards consolidation as a result? There's been talk for example of a Bloodaxe takeover bid at Salt, or Faber wanting a slice of the emerging POD market. Back to the studio.

There's a lot of sub-prime poetry out there, and those who've been investing in it are in big trouble.
